Description:
Hydrangea’s greatest use is in the treatment of inflamed or enlarged prostate glands. It is regarded as being particularly helpful in the treatment of kidney and bladder stones. It is thought both to encourage the expulsion of stones and to help dissolve those that remain.
The herb is given for many other troubles affecting the genitourinary system, including cystitis, urethritis, enlarged prostate, and prostatitis.
Preparation:
Decoction- put tsp of the root in a cup of water, bring to the boil and simmer for 10–15 minutes. Drink up to 3x a day
Caution: Do not take during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
